Gilmer Cruise Night begins in March thru October on the last Thursday of the month. The last Saturday of October brings out ghosts and goblins as the Gilmer Police Department hosts "Treats on the Square". The East Texas Yamboree begins on the third Thursday of October and over 100,000 people crowd the square and the town to help celebrate the biggest Homecoming in Texas. Come to Gilmer and meet the friendliest people in East Texas.
